Schlecht gelaunter Husky wird zum Internet-Star

Der sibirische Husky Anuko ist ein wahrer Internet-Star. Auf Instagram hat er schon über 14.000 Abonnenten, auf Youtube mehr als zwei Millionen Klicks. Die Bilder mit dem bösen Blick aus den eisig-stechenden Augen zahlen sich mittlerweile für Frauchen Jasmine Milton (20) aus. Schon 20.000 Pfund (rund 23.900 Euro) kamen laut der “Daily Mail” zusammen, unter anderem durch Werbeeinblendungen vor Youtube-Videos. Außerdem hat Anuko mittlerweile sogar einen eigenen Model-Vertrag. Mit dem Geld finanziert sich Milton nun ihr Medizinstudium.

“Er bedeutet die Welt für mich”

Auch wenn Jasmine und Anuko mittlerweile ein wahres Dream-Team sind, ist der Grund ihres Zusammenkommens tragisch. Vor drei Jahren wollte sich Milton das Leben nehmen, nach vielen Untersuchungen wurde eine bipolare Störung diagnostiziert. Eine andere Patientin riet ihr dann während eines Klinikaufenthaltes einen Hund zu halten. So wohnte nur kurze Zeit später Husky Anuko bei Milton und brachte neue Lebensfreude mit – seitdem verbessert sich ihr Zustand immer mehr. “Er bedeutet die Welt für mich, er ist wie mein Kind” – Anuko sehe auch nur wegen seiner ungewöhnlichen Fellzeichnung so grantig aus, “in Wahrheit ist er sehr liebevoll”.

Our entry for the #imtheownercontest – It’s no secret Anuko has had a huge impact on my life. There’s possibly hundreds of articles out there now broadcasting “our short but sweet” story, shortly after Anukos Meme went globally viral. December 2013 after years of unbalanced emotions, I hit an all time low patch. I made some bad life choices and wound up in hospital. I thought I had no way out; I truly convinced myself I didn’t feel the love around me and truly convinced myself I was alone. Whilst I was in the ward I overheard a mother mentioning to her teenager about dogs being natures best antidepressant. I promised myself I’d turn my life around once I got out of the automatic doors and as silly as it sounds, to me a dog was a good place to start. I’d always wanted a husky, and before I knew it I’d found a great breeder and a date and time to meet his litter. A month later I put the deposit down on this adorable Arctic Baikal litter pup, and shortly after that he was mine. I cannot possibly recall a moment since where I’ve felt as low as I did that sad December evening in 2013. When I reached out of the infinite black hole I fell into, I found his paw.
