Numerous Reports in Special Operation on Vienna A23

During these inspections, a Hungarian semi-trailer was noticed, which was leaning heavily to the right. With utmost caution, the truck was stopped and led to a secured stopping place. During the inspection, a defective tire was discovered. Continuing the journey, especially in curves, would likely have caused the vehicle to tip over. The license plates were removed, and the 55-year-old driver was reported. Additionally, the officers found violations in the area of hazardous materials transport in five vehicles, particularly due to insufficient securing. In total, 18 drivers were reported for significant violations of driving and rest times. Violations of commercial regulations were recorded 21 times. The police identified 16 serious defects and collected deposits totaling 175 euros from foreign drivers.
