MTV Movie Awards 2016: "Star Wars" liegt mit elf Nominierungen vorne

“Deadpool” hat acht Gewinnchancen, gefolgt von “Avengers: Age of Ultron” mit sechs Nominierungen.

In der Top-Kategorie “Bester Film” konkurrieren “Creed”, “Jurassic World” und “Straight Outta Compton” mit den drei Spitzenreitern. Der US-Sender MTV gab die Anwärter am Dienstag bekannt. Die Preise werden am 10. April in Los Angeles zum 25. Mal verteilt.

Oscar-Preisträger Leonardo DiCaprio könnte mit seiner Rolle in “The Revenant – Der Rückkehrer” auch den MTV-Preis gewinnen. Für seinen Kampf mit einem Bären ist er zudem in der Sparte “Bester Kampf” nominiert. Auf den Preis als beste Hauptdarstellerin dürfen unter anderem Alicia Vikander (“Ex Machina”), Charlize Theron (“Mad Max: Fury Road), Daisy Ridley (“Star Wars”) und Jennifer Lawrence (“Joy”) hoffen.

Ein großes Star-Aufgebot darf natürlich nicht fehlen: Charlize Theron, Olivia Munn, Jessica Chastain, Chris Hemsworth, Seth Rogen und Zac Efron werden am 10. April in Los Angeles als Helfer auf der Bühne stehen und Preise verteilen. Wie die Veranstalter am Montag mitteilten, soll auch US-Model Gigi Hadid Trophäen aushändigen.

Gastgeber der Preisverleihung sind die Schauspieler Dwayne Johnson und Kevin Hart. Fans haben nun die Gelegenheit, ihre Filmlieblinge online zu wählen. Die Trophäen sind übrigens golden angemalte Popcorn-Becher.
