In the area of species protection, 19 seizures were recorded. Among other things, 41 live animals, 51 corals, and 1.85 kilograms of protected materials were seized. Additionally, 18 animals without the required documentation were found in animal products.
Over Four Tons of Animal and Plant Goods Stopped
In the area of animal products, customs seized over 2.2 tons, including 757 kilograms of meat, 827 kilograms of dairy products, and 570 kilograms of honey. In the plant sector, over 2.6 tons were seized in 293 cases. The aim of these measures is to protect the EU from goods that are disease-laden or undeclared.
